GGLT works with tobacco growers and agricultural stakeholders to support productive, sustainable and commercially successful tobacco farming in Zimbabwe.
Who We Are
Green Golden Leaf Tobacco (GGLT) is a wholly owned Zimbabwean tobacco company focused on the production, sourcing, processing and marketing of quality tobacco for local and international markets. Established in 2019, we work across the tobacco value chain, partnering with growers, financial institutions and industry stakeholders to build a reliable and sustainable agricultural network.
Our operations combine farmer development, contract tobacco production, green tobacco purchasing and supply coordination. Through practical agricultural support and strong field operations, we help growers improve productivity, maintain quality standards and achieve sustainable returns from their crops.
We are driven by integrity, professionalism, innovation and customer focus. By understanding the needs of our growers and customers, GGLT continues to strengthen its position within Zimbabwe's tobacco industry while creating lasting value for our partners and the communities in which we operate.
Our Purpose
Our purpose is to empower growers, strengthen agricultural partnerships and create lasting value across Zimbabwe’s tobacco value chain, connecting sustainable production at the farm with quality and opportunity in the market.
Our Approach
We take a partnership based approach to agriculture, working closely with growers throughout the production cycle and coordinating with financial and commercial partners to support that work. Technology and data play a supporting role in helping us operate efficiently and transparently.
